Where & When
Carnival Band rehearsals are held at the Senior's lounge across from the library at Britannia Community Centre. The address is 1661 Napier Street in Vancouver. We meet every Monday evening from 7:30 to 10. Bring just about any instrument you can carry, and get ready for a good time. No auditions. All are welcome.
Saturday, 30 Aug 2008: Wondering Angels Lantern Festival
Holland Park, across from King George Skytrain Station, Surrey
This lantern festival is a celebration of a reclaimed neighborhood, which was over grown with trees, shrubs and drug dealers. The city and the residence took the park back by cleaning it up, putting in more lights and adding safer walk ways. Holland Park is now a place that the neighborhood is proud of.
Event start: 6:00pm. Performance start: 7:30pm.
